<p>Transavia airlines was the first airline in the Netherlands to receive international recognition from the Civil Aviation Authority, on behalf of the Joint Aviation Authorities, for its overall airline operation. <p>Jet2.com has been flying commercial aircraft for nearly 30 years, exclusively under the name, Channel Express (Air Services) for the first 20 years. Originally operating up to 14 Dart Herald aircraft, the company introduced, during the 1990s, Lockheed Electras, Airbus A300B4 Eurofreighters and in 2001, Boeing 737-300s. Boeing 757-200s were introduced in Autumn 2005. While historically based at Bournemouth on the South coast, the full operation and headquarters moved to Leeds Bradford Airport in West Yorkshire during 2006. </p>

Currently, flyLAL operates direct scheduled flights from Vilnius and Palanga to 18 destinations. In co-operation with its code-share partners the airline offers passengers convenient connections between Vilnius and over 600 cities of the world.</p>
